WE ARE PACIFIC ARK FOUNDATION

OUR MISSION

Pacific Ark is a founder-led NGO working in local communities to deliver practical, regenerative projects across Fiji. We build long-term resilience through regenerative land use, sustainable infrastructure, and developing local livelihoods. Our place-based solutions respond to climate, culture, and local capacity.

We invite you to connect with some of the world's most warm and welcoming cultures in remote Pacific Island communities and engage with their environments to work with Nature, not against it.

WE OVERCOME INTERCONNECTED ECOLOGICAL THREATS WITH
    GRASSROOTS SOLUTIONS.

Communities across Fiji face interconnected pressures from climate change, coastal erosion, and deforestation.

Pacific Ark responds by designing practical, place-based systems that strengthen landscapes and livelihoods at the same time.

Our approach integrates regenerative permaculture and resilient food systems tailored to local conditions.

    • Applying permaculture principles such as swales, water harvesting, and native food forests to stabilise soils and manage water

    • Restoring degraded land through organic waste recycling and regenerative planting

    • Supporting carbon sequestration through long-term land stewardship

    • Strengthening local food sovereignty and resilience
